Razzamataz Theatre Schools was launched in 2000 and achieved national recognition in 2007 after a memorable appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, winning the investment from Duncan Bannatyne.
Razzamataz Bognor Regis is proud to put the welfare of its students at the heart of everything it does. From providing affordable part-time performing arts training for children and young people, to giving them access to some of the most talented performers through specialist workshops and classes, Razzamataz Bognor Regis uses theatre arts within small class sizes to nurture a child’s confidence and self-esteem, all while making sure they are having a lot of fun. Come and join the Razzamataz family to experience a range of styles from classic West End musical theatre to funky street dance and pop singing.
Classes.
Saturday mornings are buzzing at Razzamataz Bognor Regis! The Minis (4-5yrs) have 20 minutes each of singing, acting and dancing. The Juniors run from 9.15-11.45 / 10:15-12:45 and they enjoy equal time in all three disciplines. The Inters and Seniors have 3 whole hours from 10-1! Plenty of time for the children to learn new techniques, gain leadership skills, grow in confidence and have fun!
We alternate our styles to enable the children to gain a truly all-round experience. One week we will be working on Musical Theatre styles, and the next, commercial. One week we may be little orphan Annie or Bugsy Malone and the next we might be Taylor Swift or Justin Timberlake!
Well-Being
During these unsettled and unprecedented times, we are focussing on the children’s wellbeing as much as their performance skills. The well-being of the parents is also important to us. We are operating within Covid Safe Guidelines and have a maximum number of 15 children in a class, with sanitizer on hand at all times. We explore our emotions and give opportunity for the children to express themselves and give them a safe place to do that.
Our Staff.
All our staff at Razzamataz Bognor Regis are DBS checked and highly motivated to gain the best from the children. We count ourselves so lucky to have our dynamic staff that really know how to bring out the best in the students – you can be assured that your children are in safe hands. Principal Andrea has been in the Performing Arts for over 30 years.
Performances.
Each year we work towards our Summer showcase but find performance opportunities wherever we can! This year we have booked the Windmill Theatre Littlehampton for our live theatre show for April 28th 2024!
